I’d have to
go back and do a Tournament re-watch to get a better opinion since, to be
honest, I haven’t watched it ever since I did the first time.
My problem
with Ribrianne is that the “love” thing got a bit old eventually. I actually
loved to see more female fighters in the show, but I admit that, after a while,
I reeeeeally wanted Vegeta to punch her really hard.
She did
give us some funny moments though, like Android 17 interrupting their
transformation (EPIC!), and that amazing Vegeta-grossed-out face, of course!
I Really Enjoyed her Love theme and I never got the over-vocal dislike for it, it was Enjoyable and Fresh in the DB Mythos and a Nice Homage to Magical Girls All Around! To Each their Own with Respect Indeed, but For Fans like me and others, Let LOVE Ring! ^_^
I have and still am a major fan of Ribrianne and have never really gotten the co-called hate train of her. The only way to explain it was the ToP itself, just like a Death Battle many fans get overly anxious about how their favorites will do, so when anyone that was not considered serious by somefans where given time people just went over the top with their desire to see fighters like Goku vs. Jiren.
Again their is nothing personally wrong or sinful Ribrianne did, jut a character fans just did not attach themselves to which is normal, it was just how far fans took that that got out of had to a bizarre level cause they wanted to see their favorites more.
